Sometime later on this year (either the 3rd or 4th quarter) Compton, California rapper Game will be releasing his fifth studio album called "Jesus Piece". Shortly after the release of the long delayed R.E.D. album, which was critically acclaimed but failed to put up big sales numbers, he announced that he had begun work on his fifth disc. The original title he had for the record was "Soundtrack to Chaos" and he had said that the album would be devoid of guest features and name-dropping (something the Game has been frequently criticized for by fans). In March of this year, Game announced that he changed the title to F.I.V.E.: Fear Is Victory's Evolution and that it would be his last album under Interscope Records. Then in August Game changed the title and the concept AGAIN. Now the album is called "Jesus Piece" and has a very specific concept. He also released the very provocative album art last week featuring a Black Jesus with a tattooed tear rocking a large gold Jesus piece. I know that fans are very eager to hear the concepts that Game comes up with on this one!
“Last year in August, I got Baptized. I been gone to church, but I’m still been doing me. I still love the strip clubs I still smoke and drink and I’m faithful to my family. But everybody loves God, even the most gangster of gangsters loves Jesus."
